RESTAURANT SERVES NON-HALAL FOOD
When you’re sick of scarfing down kilos of animal fiber, it’s only natural that you should want to feed yourself with stuff that will make you feel an incredible lightness of being. The Shitake Mushroom-Spinach Noodles from Hong Kong Recipe is just the dish to make you feel feather-lite!
Shitake Mushroom-Spinach Noodles
(Octo-Vegetarian) For RM8.50, they give a lot of mushrooms. The spinach noodles were perfectly al dente. It has a mild sulphurous after taste, probably coming from the fresh spinach in the fresh egg noodles. The tossing sauce was nice and light and makes for a perfect post-massage meal.
Cucumber Juice with Sour Plums
Why go green with the solids only if you can go green all the way? Here’s a surprisingly delightful drink that is made from cucumbers and sour plums. I was really impressed with how refreshing and delicious the cucumber drink was and how they were beautifully complemented by the sour plums. It is something I’d definitely have on a steaming hot afternoon!
Note: Some locals think the food there is overpriced compared to your regular coffee shop, but everything at Warisan Square (prime real estate) are more expensive.
