Coalition Duchenne ‘Open Mic’ Social Night

Coalition Duchenne ‘Open Mic’ Social Night

We have some news for you! Two weeks ago, we met Dusty Brandom, the heroic 18-year old boy who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in chilhood that affects 1 in every 3,500 boys all around the world. In anticipation of their September 9th Mt. Kinabalu climbing event, this coming Friday (2nd September, 2011), you can join Coalition Duchenne for a night of awareness, music and friendship at the Shamrock Irish Bar in KK from 7pm onwards.

Come and socialize! Meet some of the international climbers, enjoy the music, sing a song (it’s open mic night!), play an instrument to celebrate the beauty of the human spirit! We wrote a post about their Mt. Kinabalu climbing event here. For more information on Coalition Duchenne, please visit http://www.coalitionduchenne.org.
